The Sand Saber features a 12" long 316 stainless steel chisel-style Sand Saber Tip designed to drive in easier, especially in hard-packed sand and firm clay. The chisel-style tip helps reduce insertion effort compared to standard tip styles when the bottom is packed tight, while still working for normal shallow-water anchoring applications.
The pole is built from heavy duty 1" solid fiberglass for added strength, stiffness, and dependable marine performance. It is not hollow fiberglass, not aluminum, and not plastic. The solid fiberglass construction is engineered to be stiff yet flexible and designed to resist cracking, breaking, or snapping.
The 8FT length gives you extra reach in shallow water, while the 2 Piece design breaks down into two 4FT sections for easier onboard storage and transport.
